Gov. Schwarzenegger Gives Nixon Library Tour to Snapchat Followers

Nixon and Schwarzenegger are two names not often associated with each other, but the two men had great admiration for one another and a similar view of the world.

In 1991, the action star landed his helicopter in the Nixon Library parking lot to join RN and Bob Hope for a special event for friends and supporters of the Library.

Twenty-five years later, the former California Governor returned to Yorba Linda to tour the all-new museum and bring his millions of Snapchat followers along with him.

Visiting the day prior to Thanksgiving with daughter Katherine, Schwarzenegger spent the day at the Library where he viewed the popular new “Nixon” orientation film, sat behind the President’s desk in the replica of the Oval Office and took in the gravity of the exhibits on the 1960s and the Vietnam War.
