DESCRIPTION:Christmas cheer comes alive at the Nixon Library with a spectacular tree lighting\, live music\, Santa Claus\,\nand an evening of holiday fun for the whole family. \nThe story of Christmas in America is intertwined with the story of the nation itself. In the winter of 1776\, George Washington and his troops crossed the Delaware River on Christmas night in a daring effort that would become one of the most iconic moments of the American Revolution. From the earliest days of the Republic through the Victorian era and into the modern American Christmas\, generations have celebrated the season through music\, traditions\, community and a distinctly American spirit. \nEnjoy a festive evening featuring: \n\nChristmas Tree Lighting: Gather for a special ceremony to begin the evening.\nPresidential Photos with Santa: Capture a special Christmas memory in the Oval Office.\nSanta’s Reindeer: Meet Santa’s reindeer up close.\nLive Holiday Music: Enjoy performances by the Huntington Beach Concert Band.\nChristmas Carolers: Hear traditional favorites performed by the Dickens Carolers from Foothill High School\nElvis Presley Tribute: Enjoy a special holiday appearance by the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll.\nHoliday Food and Drinks: Warm up with hot cocoa\, light bites\, Polly’s Pies’ famous Backburner Soup\, and a no-host bar.\nNixon Library After Dark: Explore the museum galleries and enjoy a candlelight stroll through the gardens.\nAmerica 250: A More Perfect Union: Experience the Nixon Library’s special exhibition before it closes!\n\n  \nThe festivities begin at 4:30 PM with food trucks and Chick-fil-A available at the Nixon Library entrance. \nThe Christmas tree lighting ceremony begins at 5:00 PM \nTickets for this event: \nRichard Nixon Foundation Member Adult Admission: $50.00 \nRichard Nixon Foundation Member Child (ages 5-11) Admission: $20.00 \nGeneral Adult Admission: $60.00 \nGeneral Child Admission (ages 5-11): $25.00 \nAll children age 4 and  under are free \n
