SUMMARY:American Red Cross Blood Drive at the Nixon Library
DESCRIPTION:Within days of closing the Nixon Library to the public due to COVID-19 in March 2020\, the White House East Room\, known for its once-active programming and frequent events\, became a center for much-needed blood donations. \nSince then\, the Foundation has regularly hosted drives\, resulting in thousands of usable blood units and saving many lives. \nThe Richard Nixon Foundation intends to continue these popular and meaningful blood drives as long as the shortage continues. \nThis blood drive is presented in partnership with the American Red Cross. \nThe blood drive will take place Monday\, May 4 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. \n
