Richard Nixon Foundation Scholarship and Research Grants Program

The Richard Nixon Foundation is inviting application for its annual travel and research grants program. Awards are available for study focused on the life, career, and times of President Nixon (1913-1994).

While preference will be given to topics dealing directly with the study of President Nixon, we also encourage applicants with broader topics that are related to the extensive collections at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library in Yorba Linda, CA.

The travel and research grant opportunities include:

Research Travel Grants of up to $2,500 to support research in the holdings of the Nixon Presidential Library in Yorba Linda, CA.

Dissertation Fellowships of up to $15,000 to help doctoral candidates complete their dissertations without having to teach or find other employment.

Publication Grants of up to $30,000 for published scholars, journalists, and other authors who need assistance to compete works in progress.

Applications for the 2019-2020 academic year must be received by April 30, 2019. Grant recipients will be informed on July 1, 2019
