Enter the Nixon Library’s White House Cabinet Room for a special living history experience where young visitors come face to face with one of America’s most celebrated leaders — General Dwight D. Eisenhower.
Through the magic of historical interpretation, children will have the unique opportunity to meet “General Eisenhower” and learn what it was like to lead the Allied forces during World War II and serve as the 34th President of the United States.
In this engaging program geared towards elementary school students, children will:
- Listen to General Eisenhower share stories from his remarkable life
- Learn about leadership, courage, and service to one’s country
- Ask questions and interact with our costumed historical interpreter
- Have the opportunity to pose for a photo with General Eisenhower
This program is designed to bring history to life in a meaningful and memorable way, sparking curiosity and a love of learning in young museum visitors.
