American Civics Campaign

Inspired by President Nixon’s conviction in education and debate, the American Civics Campaign will equip the next generation with a deep understanding of American democracy and civic life.

The Nixon Foundation is embarking on significant capital improvements to expand our educational reach. This includes quadrupling our exhibition space, preserving President Nixon’s Marine One helicopter and presidential limousine, and creating an immersive, hands-on American Civics Center. Together with the American Civics Academy—our groundbreaking digital platform reaching students and teachers nationwide—this transformative initiative will serve the educational needs of students, scholars, and researchers on a global scale.

“Richard Nixon’s true religion was America: a civic faith in the Constitution, the founders, the American Way and the American virtues, freedom and democracy.”

-Lance Morrow, The Wall Street Journal

Support the future of civics education.

Through the American Civics Campaign, the Richard Nixon Foundation launched the American Civics Academy—transforming how students learn about democracy. Thanks to our Founding Donors and supporters, we are now nearing the completion of our goal.

This initiative is already making a national impact:

  • Reaching over 1 million students with engaging, nonpartisan programs
  • Training 1,200+ educators to teach civics with confidence
  • Delivering free, high-quality civics education online and in person nationwide

With your help, we can finish what we started—expanding access, strengthening programs, and equipping the next generation to lead and serve as informed citizens.

Help us finish strong. Support the American Civics Academy today.
