The Nixon Library presents

“A Holiday of Hope”

Tis the season for celebration!

All Aboard! Trains are Back!

Every week, Nixon Library visitors will enjoy rotating sets of model trains chugging up mountains and rolling across the American plains. Visit the Nixon Library throughout the Holiday season to keep up with the latest rotating model! New trains every week! Purchase museum tickets here!

The train clubs schedule is as follows:

November 18th – ’20s, ’30s, and Beyond Model Railroad Club

November 23rd – N-Trak Express

November 30th – Southern California Traction Club

December 7th – Orange County Module Railroaders

December 28th – California South Coast On30 group

This December marks the 50th anniversary of President Nixon’s signing of the National Cancer Act. In honor of this landmark legislation, the Nixon Library will display a “Holiday of Hope” Christmas tree featuring 26 colored ribbons, sparkling symbols of the fight against cancer.

Nixon Library visitors are invited to decorate the tree by writing names of loved ones on ribbons and placing them on the tree.

This year’s official Nixon Library ornament features the iconic “President and the King” photo of President Nixon and Elvis Presley, taken in December 1970 in the White House Oval Office. There won’t be a Blue Christmas at the Nixon Library; instead, enjoy a celebratory Rock n Roll-themed Christmas Tree and a gingerbread house modeled after Graceland. You can purchase this special ornament here.

Special programming begins on Thursday, November 18th, and will continue nearly every Thursday until Christmas. Step into the Christmas season with sounds of carolers, family photos with Santa Claus, and a series of programs listed below:
