Speaker Newt Gingrich and his wife Callista returned to the Nixon Library Friday for a special screening of their new documentary film, “Nine Days that Changed the World,” the story of Pope John Paul II’s historic 1979 pilgrimage to Poland, how he strengthened the country’s solidarity movement, and how he changed the historic pattern from tyranny to freedom.
“We believe this film is universal,” said Speaker Gingrich, “It’s about us.”
