May 27, 2011: The 12th Richard Nixon Legacy Forum, which concentrated on RN’s Cold War policies, was held at the Navy Memorial in Washington, D.C.
The panel, moderated by Edward F. Cox, the son-in-law of the 37th President and current Chairman of the New York Republican Party, included Richard V. Allen, John F. Lehman, and Richard H. Solomon. All former members of the National Security Council, the distinguished panelists discussed the manner in which President Nixon employed his superior diplomatic skills to navigate the minefield that was the Cold War.
