Last night David Drucker was interviewed by Nixon Foundation President Jim Byron about his first book In Trump’s Shadow: The Battle for 2024 and the Future of the GOP

With an insider’s perspective, the Senior Political Correspondent for the Washington Examiner gave a candid and engaging preview of the 2024 presidential election. The conversation started with Trump’s potential candidacy and went on to highlight candidates covered extensively in his book and those that weren’t but could still be potential frontrunners.

When the topic of foreign policy emerged, the discussion highlighted current Nixon Seminar co-chairs Mike Pompeo and Robert O’Brien.

While most of Drucker’s remarks focused on the candidate’s strengths, he emphasized his balanced analysis that includes “knocks” on everyone. When asked his opinion of a perfect ticket, Drucker responded that he wouldn’t share his personal opinion but he implored the audience on the importance of voting.
