Melanie Eisenhower

Melanie Eisenhower is the youngest daughter of Julie Nixon Eisenhower and David Eisenhower. She is the granddaughter of President and Mrs. Richard Nixon and the great-granddaughter of President and Mrs. Dwight D. Eisenhower.

Eisenhower is a Child Life Specialist in the oncology department at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, providing psychosocial and emotional support to children and their families undergoing radiation treatment. Previously, she was a Child Life Specialist at the Children’s Hospital at the Montefiore Medical Center in New York City for several years before returning home to Philadelphia.

She received her B.S. from the University of Richmond, majoring in Rhetoric and Communication Studies with a minor in History and her M.S. in Child Life from Bank Street College of Education in New York City.
