Donation Requests

The Richard Nixon Foundation preserves the legacy of President and Mrs. Nixon by giving back to the community. Richard and Pat Nixon were engaged in generously supporting thousands of non-profit organizations throughout their lives. Please see the guidelines for donation requests below.

* All donation requests must come from a registered 501(c)(3) organization and must include the organization name with federal tax id number in the request letter, along with the person to contact at your non-profit, including their direct dial phone number.

* – Requests must be made with a SASE (self addressed stamped regular business size envelope) with enough postage to handle 2 admission tickets, and a museum brochure for you to display with the tickets at your fundraiser and to give to the donor.  Add 20 cents to the First-Class Mail letter rate to ensure delivery by the postal service.

* Inquiries of admission tickets, memberships or other donations are acceptable and will be reviewed and approved on a case-by-case basis.
Donations for charitable events must be submitted no later than three months prior to the event date.

* Approved donations will be sent within a month of initial submission. Please note, the Nixon Foundation receives hundreds of donation inquiries and cannot fulfill all requests. If you do not receive a reply, please do not call the foundation offices. Unfortunately, not all requests can be fulfilled.
