In time for the 50th anniversaries of President Nixon’s world-changing trips to China and Russia, the man who was at his side for a decade as his aide and White House Deputy explores the life and presidency of Richard Nixon.

In this memoir —50 years in the making— Chapin takes readers on an extraordinary historic journey, reflecting on his personal experiences with the people who shaped history, including Dr. Henry Kissinger, his close friend Bob Haldeman, Zhou Enlai, First Lady Pat Nixon, J. Edgar Hoover, Frank Sinatra, Mark ‘Deep Throat’ Felt, and a young and ambitious Roger Ailes.

It’s a story that ranges from Coretta Scott King to Elvis Presley, from acupuncture in a Chinese hospital to the Watergate scandal, and concludes with startling new insights and conclusions about the cover-up that ended the Nixon presidency.

Copies of The President’s Man will be available for purchase at the Nixon Library Gift Shop. If you are unable to attend but want a signed copy, order now and the Nixon Library will ship it the day after the event.

Chapin will be in-conversation with former Nixon aide Frank Gannon.

If you are unable to attend the event in-person, watch online here.
