December 2, 2019 at 5:30 PM - 5:45 PM

Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Nixon Library

Celebrate 50 years of Christmas with the  Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum.

Mark your calendars and  join us for a family fun evening of holiday cheer!

Start the holiday season with a great new Yorba Linda community tradition:  Christmas with the Nixons!  You are invited to attend the Nixon Presidential Library’s  2019 Nixon Family Tree Lighting Ceremony on December 2.

The festive ceremony officially kicks off our holiday cheer and marks the very special 50th anniversary of  First Lady Pat Nixon opening the White House for candlelight tours during the holidays.

Following the ceremony will be the first of  two Nixon Library Candlelight Evenings that include:

  • Photos with Santa in the Oval Office!
  • Pat Nixon’s after hours tours of the Library’s galleries, grounds, Apollo 11: One Giant Leap for Mankind special exhibit and the whimsical new Christmas model train show On Track to the Moon and Back.
  • Christmas Carols sung by the Orange Lutheran High School Choir and Orange High School Choir
  • Fun filled readings of the Night Before Christmas by Mrs. Claus.
  • Magical White House East Room entertainment, activities, food and refreshments.

If you are interested in experiencing the Nixon Family Tree Lighting, please contact Anne Brown. She can be reached at 714-364-1161 or [email protected], or register here.

**Activities will be inside and outside, so bring a coat!

While the Tree Lighting Ceremony is free and open to the public, all Candlelight Evening events and activities require paid admission.
